Ben Fargen has worked hard to design a line of amps that cover the needs of today's working guitarist. You will find that he has hand built in all of the vintage magic along with many improvements that modern players have been wanting for years. How we found out about Fargen amps.. I have a customer who used to play with Mcfuffey Lane come in a while back and said have you heard a Fargen amp? I said no are they good? He told me they were the buzz in Nashville and guys were real hot on them.  I told him well I better call Ben and see what's up with his amps. Ben is a ture class act of guy and after hearing his amps I can see why everyone in Nashville was talking about his amps.  Now Ben makes alot of different type of amps so the buzz  in Nashville was for a Blackbird.   Bordeaux 40 Custom Blue Sparkle one of kind

The  Bordeaux  was designed as the top of  the line Fargan amp. The amp really is two amps in one. Channel one is a Blackbird which was designed to capture all the classic sound of the early 60's Blackface Deluxe Reverb without the brittle high end and flabby lows that can ruin an otherwise wonderful sound. Think of "The Blackbird" as the best sounding Deluxe Reverb you have never heard! The Blackbird will help you capture the magic you have been looking for and will never find in your old blackface amp. Channel 2 is modded VOS which gives you a nice smooth overdrive with lots of singing sustain. Great for classic rock to modern country or blues. Over all a match made in heaven with the best clean channel and a great drive channel to match.
